Still have questions?

Is it free?
Yes, the content is free; however, you will need to purchase the experiment materials. Don't worry; it is less than $20 per class, and you can buy them in any Walmart or order on Amazon with one-click.
What are the prizes?
We will send 3 boxes of MEL Lite with a safe and engaging chemistry experiment inside to the first 1,000 teachers to register.
Is it for primary/elementary or secondary schools?
We focus on primary/elementary schools, but of course, you can use Hour of Science within your secondary school classroom too.
I'm not a science expert; can I still do it?
Yes. We will provide step-by-step instructions and online training with an experienced science teacher, where you are welcome to ask questions to become more confident in the subject matter.
I'm not a teacher, but my family/club wants to participate. Can we?
Of course! We’ll gladly send you three experiment kits if you gather at least 15 people for the lesson. If your group is smaller, you can still join Hour of Science as you’ll have all of the necessary educational materials and a shopping list.
Which grade is it for?
We focus on primary/elementary schools (6–10 years old), but of course, you can use Hour of Science within any classroom.
November 10th is busy for us; can we do it another day?
Yes. Your students will, however, need to watch a recorded lesson rather than experiencing it live.
