- baking soda;
- sugar;

Step-by-step instructions
Sprinkle a teaspoon of baking soda into a glass, add sugar to taste, squeeze a lemon into the concoction, and add water. The soda is ready!
Processes description
Lemon juice contains a number of acids, mostly citric acid. These acids react with baking soda to form carbon dioxide. As carbon dioxide dissolves poorly in water, it is gradually released in the form of bubbles, making the drink fizzy.
