Common name:

K4[Fe(CN)6], or potassium ferrocyanide, is a substance with many different applications. For example, it is known in the EU as the food additive E536, while sodium ferrocyanide Na4[Fe(CN)6] (prussiate of soda) is used in the American food industry. Both these substances are anticaking agents, which are added in small amounts to the table salt we use every day.
