Ordering for charter schools

Click here to see if MEL Science is already approved at your school. If yes — choose the product(s) that suits you best and contact your school coordinator to place an order. If not — please email your teacher requesting to add MEL Science as an approved vendor.

Please ask your school coordinator to send all subscription or bundle purchase orders to homeschool@melscience.com.

After your purchase order has been received and processed (please allow 7 days), you will receive the first package within 7–14 days. All other packages will be shipped monthly. You’ll receive one kit by the end of each month. Bundles will be delivered within 2–3 weeks of processing.

When submitting a purchase order, please clarify if you are a first-time customer or are renewing a subscription.

Shipping costs are included in all listed prices and can be omitted from purchase orders. Please include any sales tax if applicable.

Buy MEL Science on Odyssey marketplace

  1. Log into the Odyssey marketplace with your credentials via the link: https://app.withodyssey.com/en/parents/
  2. Search for «MEL Science» with the search bar and send the enrollment request.
  3. Once approved, you’ll receive a transaction request from MEL Science.
  4. Approve the transaction and receive your first MEL Science kit within 2–10 business days!
Kansas. Kansas Educational Enrichment Program
  1. Visit the MEL Science Marketplace: https://keep-with-mel-science.myshopify.com/
  2. Select the item you would like to purchase.
  3. Enter your student’s Award Number in the KEEP award number field. How do I find my student’s award number?
  4. Enter your student’s First and Last Name in the next field.
  5. Select Add to cart or Buy it now. Please note: each student must have separate orders placed.
  6. Upon checkout, enter your email and shipping address.
  7. Confirm your order and then download your order confirmation as a PDF file or screenshot.
  8. Visit app.keep.ks.gov or open the KEEP Claims app and submit a claim by attaching your purchase order in place of a receipt.

Prepaid 12-kit option — 6-kit bundle + 6 monthly kits

MEL Science offers educational subscription boxes with breathtaking hands-on experiments powered by immersive augmented reality/virtual reality lessons and pre-recorded video lessons.

Options

MEL Chemistry – ages 10–16+

2–4 experiments per kit, VR lessons, and pre-recorded video lessons. VR headset is included.

MEL Physics – ages 8–14+

Hands-on experiments, VR lessons, and pre-recorded video lessons. Subscriptions do not renew automatically. VR headset is not included.

MEL STEM – ages 5–9+

STEM projects accompanied by an augmented reality mobile app. Subscriptions do not renew automatically. VR headset is not included.

Each of the options above is limited to 12 kits. If you have previously received our products, please note this on your purchase order. Subscriptions do not renew automatically.

Price — $449.90 with $6/kit shipping fee included in price. The first shipment will include 6 kits with the remaining 6 kits shipped monthly, all delivered within the school year.

Consolidated Bundles — All kits shipped in one package

Please be aware that bundle contents are fixed. If you have previously subscribed to a MEL Science product, you may receive duplicate kits. Bundles are best suited for new customers. Subscriptions started after receiving a bundle will account for the bundle’s contents and avoid duplicates.

Ages 14+. This pack includes 21 experiments, each of which can be repeated twice. All kits are accompanied by mobile app guidelines and virtual patients, allowing for an immersive and interactive learning experience. Bundle contents may vary depending on available stock.

This bundle includes 3 sets, two from MEL Physics and one from MEL STEM — a great opportunity to try both courses and find the perfect one! You’ll also get access to our educational app, which combines the latest tech and curated storytelling to supercharge science education.

6-kit RENEWAL subscription – $299.90

A 6 months subscription for returning students who already received a STEM, Physics or Chemistry bundle and would like to complete their MEL Science course. When placing an order, please use the same email you provided in the past. If you purchased several bundles, please mention the course you would like to renew. Renewals are limited to 1 per course and can only be applied for the STEM, Physics, and Chemistry courses.
