Chemistry - Acids and Alkalis

Prepare in advance

On this lesson we will conduct "Natural pH indicators" DIY experiment. Prepare the following household materials:

  Red cabbage (if you cannot find it you can use beetroot)
  Red rose pelals or hibiscus tea (if you cannot find it you can use black tea)
  Citric acid or vinegar (if you cannot find it you can use lemon juice)
  Scissors
  6x glasses (or 6 paper/plastic cups)
  Hot water
  2x tea spoon
