Scientific description

Each of our eyes  sees the same scene in a slightly different way. Look at the object with your left and right eye separately and you will see the difference. This means that our brain needs to interpret two slightly different pictures of what is in front of us. The differences between the received pictures helps our brain to determine the volume, size, depth, and distance between visible objects.

Do you know how to adjust the field of view? You can do it with mirrors . Mirrors almost completely reflect the light that comes to them, and because of this, we see our reflection in them. With mirrored eyeglass lenses, you can customize the area you can see.

It is quite difficult for our brain to adjust to a new vision range, which is why it is easy to mix up the top and bottom of the picture you are looking at through such glasses. How fast were you able to complete the maze in the upside-down world?

Some animals have vision which is directed in different directions. Have you tried to look at the world through the eyes of a chameleon or a fish?
